Involvement Over Observation
Baylor students are here for academic success and holistic development. The OA LLC strikes a balance between keeping students accountable to be involved in their community, putting in the work and time needed to find academic success and pushing students to go beyond the community to be involved at Baylor. Outdoor Adventure Sports class requires students to spend the time necessary to develop a foundation of community, skills and values. The leadership team provides experience and resources to help students work hard and efficiently in their coursework. The day trips, extended trips, second semester classes and community events provide the optional flexibility to delve deeper into adventure, or spend time involved in other areas at Baylor.

"Our students are involved in all areas of Baylor. This year alone we have students involved in club sports teams, academic clubs, off-campus organizations, ministries, service organizations, research with Baylor faculty, work-study programs, and social clubs. This variety of involvement provides a diversity of experiences and interests that allows the community to thrive."- David Copeland, Director
